On Wednesday, October 16th, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments in the Grant v. Lamont case. The purpose of this hearing is to ask the court to reconsider our request for a preliminary injunction, which was previously denied by Judge Arterton before her retirement. If successful, this injunctive relief could temporarily suspend the Connecticut Assault Weapons Ban while the case proceeds through the courts.
The Connecticut Assault Weapons Ban represents an unjust infringement on our Second Amendment rights, especially in light of the Bruen decision. We remain committed to fighting until we fully restore those rights.
Carry On!
