I Support H.B. No. 5432 AN ACT CONCERNING NONLETHAL ELECTRONIC DEFENSE WEAPONS
Dear Senator Winfield, Representative Stafstrom, Distinguished Members of the Judiciary Committee,
I oppose H.B. 5448 and urge you to also oppose it. This bill ignores due process, putting the burden of proof innocence on the accused. I can see all kinds of opportunity for abuse of this bill.
I hope that you will support H.B 5390 allowing legal permit holders to protect themselves and others in a place of worship.
Finally, I hope that you will also support H.B 5432 which allows Connecticut residents more options in self-defense.
