I’m opposed to HB 5448 AN ACT CONCERNING A RISK PROTECTION ORDER OR WARRANT. Again, this committee stance is taking the guns away first, go through due process second. At such a high rate of abuse of ex-parte order in Connecticut. People that aren’t at risk will have their right to self-protection taken away and will never get them back. VOTE NO on HB 5448. Support the law-abiding people of Connecticut, support the right to self-protection by supporting HB 5432 and HB 5390.
