Judiciary Committee Members,
OPPOSE HB 5448. We have current “Red Flag” laws which have been in place for over 20 years. I urge you to strengthen the laws that are currently in place. This bill is simply a reach to strip individuals not only of their property but rights. The inability to refute allegations or claims on your own behalf is gravely concerning, and quite frankly a gross miscarriage of the legal system.
