Judiciary Committee Members,
Imagine, if you would, a State where each and every Town or City had its own currency. A Hartford Dollars would be good in Bridgeport, but not in Westport. A Bethel Buck would be banned in Hartford.
Makes no sense, does it? Yet, Firearms laws can be just as confusing when left to each Town. A constitutional right, under Connecticut’s highest law, should be the same wherever and in every town.
Please support HB 5227 so, law-abiding people like me can have one law and one understanding,
